This is a starter kit for the role play Alien. The set contains everything you need to get started with 2 to 6 players. The recommended age for Alien is 14+ and a session takes about 120 minutes. Alien is a role-playing game set in a universe of horror and corporate brinkmanship, where synthetic humans play god while space truckers and marines host newborn, creepy creatures. It is a harsh and unforgivable universe. Stay alive if you can.
This beginner's set contains everything you need to start playing:
- A 104-page rulebook with a fast and effective set of rules designed specifically to support the core themes of ALIEN: horror and action in the cold darkness of space.
- The 48-page complete scenario Chariot of the Gods by science fiction writer Andrew E.C. Gaska, which takes you on an exciting, terrifying ride into deep space where no one can hear you scream. Chariot of the Gods is designed for 3-5 players plus the GM.
- Five pre-generated characters to play.
- A huge full-color, double-sided map, with on one side the chartered space in the year 2183 and the other maps for the Chariot of the Gods scenario.
- 84 game markers for character tracking, motion tracker pings, and more.
- 56 high quality custom maps for weapons, personal diaries, and initiative in battle.
- A set of ten engraved Base Dice and ten Stress Dice, specially designed for the ALIEN role-playing game.
You can supplement the Starter Set with items such as extra dice or extra scenarios. Playing Alien RPG for the first time? Then one starter set is enough for 2 to 6 people (of which 1 person is the game leader/game master).
