It was subsequently translated into many languages. 999 Games took on the Dutch translation. A game of Wingspan takes about 45 minutes and you can play the basic game with 1 to 5 players. Would you like to play with up to 7 players? Then you can add the Wingspan: Asia expansion. The recommended age is 10 years or older. That means it has a medium difficulty level.

Wingspan contains more than 170 beautifully illustrated cards featuring birds. You are bird lovers who want to discover and attract the best birds to your nature reserves. On your turn, you can take food to attract new birds, let your birds lay eggs, take new birds into your hand or play them. But beware, Wingspan is such a typical game where you are short of turns.

Meanwhile, there are many fun expansions to this game. With Wingspan Europe and Wingspan Oceania you add birds from that particular continent. This way there are even more possibilities to play. Oceania also includes new game boards with a new type of food: nectar. Wingspan Asia contains special modules to play Wingspan alone, with 2 or with a group of up to 7.
