Sung Sam Park was born in Seoul, Korea in 1949 and started painting when he was 12 years old. His talent and pedagogical gifts were quickly recognized, and when he was 13 years old and still in high school, Park taught at High School there. After finishing Jung Ang University in 1973, Park traveled to France where he studied painting and lived in Paris with other young artists. His contemporary art style clearly shows the influence of the French Impressionists. During his stay in Europe, Park continued his studies and further developed his vision of Impressionism and Hyperrealism. He was able to secure a place in various galleries in Europe, and today many of his works can be seen.
