Alibis is a clever and cooperative word association party game by Allplay, where players try to clear innocent suspects by providing a shared alibi—and discover who the real villain is.
How do you play?
At the start of each round, players receive 2 innocent suspect cards. Together, they choose a single word that links their two suspects—creating an alibi without giving clues for other suspects on the board. Players write down guesses on whiteboards, trying to deduce each other’s suspects. If the correct suspects are identified, the team reduces “heat” tokens and moves closer to victory. Each round introduces new combinations, requiring both creativity and precision in clue-giving.
Why is this game recommended?
Alibis blends intuitive wordplay with light cooperative deduction. It’s fast, accessible, and great for families or casual groups. With every new round, the tension builds as players balance clarity with clever ambiguity. A perfect fit for party game lovers who enjoy thinking together.
