This Ancient Copper Base from the True Metallic Metal range is designed for painters who want a realistic copper shine with a strong, opaque foundation colour. The paint uses metallic effect pigments and acts as the core tone in the Ancient Copper colour family. It is ideal for bronze armour, aged copper, fantasy weapons, machinery, steampunk details and historical model parts. Vallejo describes these Base colours as high-coverage paints with a smooth, even finish and excellent self-leveling properties. Apply it with a brush and build the colour in thin layers for the most controlled metallic result. Shake the dropper bottle well before use so the metallic pigments are evenly mixed.
