Codenames: Critical Role Adventures is an English cooperative word game by CGE in which players journey through Exandria, choose Critical Role heroes, and complete missions together using clues and deduction.
How do you play the game?
One player acts as Game Master and gives clues using the familiar Codenames principle, while the others work together to identify the correct words. Every mission introduces its own goals and rule twists. Before a campaign, the group chooses three of seven heroes. Characters have individual sheets, miniatures, and abilities. Successful missions award XP, unlocking new abilities and allowing heroes to equip items. A D20 is used for skill checks. The three campaigns contain branching missions and build toward a final boss.
