With Geharrewar in de Sushibar Junior, you get a fast, kid-friendly dice game from 999 Games where young penguins grab tasty sushi, avoid bony fish, and sometimes steal tiles with chopsticks.
How do you play the game?
Line up sushi tiles on the table. On your turn, roll the dice to collect enough sushi or chopsticks. You may roll up to three times, as long as you set aside at least one die after each roll. After the third roll, you take a tile from the row based on your result. If you roll enough chopsticks, you can even snatch a tile from another player. When the game ends, score your haul: sushi gives points, while fish bones give negative points. Highest total wins.
Why choose this dice game?
This junior edition keeps turns quick and rules simple, so kids can jump in right away. It also sneakily supports basic math, because scoring mixes points and penalties. Every turn brings a fun decision: push for more sushi, or play it safe to avoid bones? The light “steal” moment with chopsticks adds interaction and laughs—perfect as a short family filler.
