The Werewolves of Wakkerdam is a popular deduction card game set in an imaginary medieval village called Wakkerdam. The game is played with a group of players, with each player assigned a unique role, such as citizen, werewolf, seer or witch.

The goal of the game is for the civilians to identify and eliminate the werewolves before the werewolves kill the majority of the civilians. The game consists of a series of rounds that simulate the night and day phases.

During the night phase, all players close their eyes and the werewolves wake up. They then collectively choose a victim to kill. Other roles such as the seer or witch can then use their special powers to gather information or intervene. During the day phase, all players discuss who they think the werewolves are, and they then vote to lynch a player. The chosen player is then removed from the game and reveals his or her role.

The game is won if all werewolves are eliminated or if more werewolves than civilians remain. The game can be played with a group of 8 to 18 players and usually lasts 30 to 45 minutes.

The Werewolves of Wakkerdam is a fun and challenging game that revolves around bluffing, deduction and social interaction. It can be played with friends or family and is also popular at game nights and events.
