Pencil Pirates

Get ready, sharpen your pencils, and hoist the sails. In Pencil Pirates by HABA, you get your own sea chart full of islands, treasures, dangers, and clever detours. Each round, all players plan their route at the same time. You place your ruler on the map, draw a line from your ship to a new island, and try to hit as many treasure symbols as possible along the way without crossing any forbidden squares.

After each round, the map is passed on to the next player. They must continue sailing from where you left off. This way, the playing field is constantly changing and you try to make it just that little bit more difficult for each other. Whirlpool tiles, dangers, and the ticking hourglass add extra excitement and keep everyone on their toes. 

Pencil Pirates is all about smart planning, spatial awareness, and taking a few risks. The simple basic rules make the game easy to explain, but the combination of different sea charts, wavy rulers, and simultaneous turns ensures plenty of variety and replayability.
