Graantje de Voorste: Het Bordspel is a lively board game from 999 Games where you push your luck to plunder farms for points—while keeping a close eye on the hungry fox.
Chaos breaks out on the farms as runaway chickens race to peck the tastiest food and turn it into points. Each round you play cards to grab food tokens, but staying too long is risky: the fox creeps closer and can wipe out your haul in an instant. Do you dare to go one more round for berries or worms, or do you play it safe and cash in at the right moment?
With quick turns, table talk, and constant “one more try” tension, this family-friendly title stays exciting to the very end. It also includes a handy dice tower for great table presence and comes with rules in multiple languages.
How to play the game
Each round, play 1 card to try to grab a food token from a farm. If you play a chicken card, you flee to the next farm and can trade tokens for points. Then dice are rolled and the fox moves closer; at five paw prints you lose your food. After six farms are cleared, the highest score wins.
