Haunted Mouse Deluxe Edition is an interactive ladder-climbing card game from Bezier Games in which five frightened mice try to shed their nightmares, wake up first and collect enough cheese to complete their cheese wheel.
High above a forgotten village stands an abandoned cathedral inhabited by Parm, Brie, Gouda, Jaq and Colby. At night, these mice dream of cats, snakes, owls and other hungry creatures. Their fears are represented by cards that players must discard as efficiently as possible. Haunted Mouse combines ladder-climbing and shedding mechanisms with an unusual interactive twist: you can use cards and opportunities created by your opponents to help clear your own hand. This creates tactical decisions as you consider when to play aggressively, when to hold back and how to benefit from another player’s move. The earlier you discard all your fear cards, the more cheese you receive. Multiple rounds are played, and the first mouse to complete a full cheese wheel wins. The accessible card play, direct interaction and changing table situation make every round lively and unpredictable.
How do you play the game?
Players take turns playing valid cards or combinations while trying to empty their hands. New plays build on the current sequence, but clever timing can let you benefit from fears played by other mice. When a player sheds every card, cheese is awarded according to finishing order. The game continues until one player completes a cheese wheel.
