Kingdomino XXL is the oversized family tile-laying game edition of the award-winning Kingdomino by Blue Orange, featuring giant domino tiles and castles for an eye-catching table presence and excellent visibility. The rules are identical to the original game: players draft domino tiles showing different terrains and add them to their personal kingdom, trying to create large areas with valuable crowns. Thanks to the extra-large components, Kingdomino XXL is perfect for playing with kids, for game nights around a big table, or for in-store demos and events where everyone needs to see the board clearly.
How do you play the game?
Each round, a row of domino tiles is revealed. In turn order, players choose one tile; the tile they pick determines the turn order for the next round. When placing your chosen tile, at least one half must touch a matching terrain type in your kingdom, similar to classic dominoes. The game ends when every player has completed a 5×5 grid (or uses a larger variant). You then score each terrain region by multiplying its size by the number of crowns in that region – the player with the highest total score wins.
