Knitting Circle (ENG) is a cozy, puzzly tile-laying game from AEG where you draft yarn tiles, “knit” garments, and chain patterns, buttons, and bonus requests into satisfying scoring combos.
How do you play the game?
Play unfolds in easy rounds: first you draft yarn from the central basket/knitting circle, then you spend those tiles to complete garment cards. Your placement choices aim to match colors and stitch patterns that best fit your active garments and request goals. Buttons add extra points, and your cat can occasionally “help” by grabbing yarn from the cloth bag at just the right moment. With simultaneous play and variable scoring goals, every session feels fresh—sometimes you pivot to what the market offers, other times you commit to finishing a high-value garment. After a set number of rounds, tally points from completed garments, buttons, and fulfilled requests to determine the winner.
Why is this game recommended?
It’s relaxing on the surface, but delightfully crunchy in the decisions—perfect for puzzle lovers and fans of clever drafting.
