Liberation: D-Day places the French Resistance in the crucial days around the Normandy landings. Resistance networks sabotage railways, cut communications, attack command posts and slow German reinforcements trying to reach the front. The expansion focuses on two scenarios: the Limousin maquis facing the 2nd SS Division Das Reich and the actions in Brittany, where French SAS and local partisans work to pin down German forces. The Liberation base game is required, but D-Day adds fresh pressure, historical depth and new tactical choices to the cooperative, asymmetric deckbuilding system.
