Moluku is a tactical card game by Spiel ou Face that gives the classic trick-taking genre a refreshing twist. Instead of simply collecting tricks, every decision also shapes your personal island. At the end of each trick, players draft one of the played cards and add it to their island, creating valuable scoring combinations while preparing the cards they will use in the following round. This unique blend of trick-taking, card drafting and tableau building creates meaningful choices from the first card to the last. The straightforward rules make Moluku easy to learn, while the strategic depth rewards experienced players who enjoy planning ahead.
How do you play the game?
Each player plays one card into every trick. The winner of the trick chooses the first card from the trick and places it on their island, followed by the remaining players in order. At the end of the round, islands score points based on collected resources and special cards. Those same cards then become your hand for the next round. After three rounds, the player with the highest score wins the game.
