Monster Max (5+) is a fast-paced real-time matching game from HABA in which 2 to 4 players simultaneously combine monster pieces to recreate Monster Max as accurately as possible.
Each round, a monster card reveals a new configuration. All players search through their own monster pieces at the same time and rebuild the monster. The correct side, position and orientation all matter. Sometimes Monster Max consists of five pieces, sometimes six. When you think your monster matches the target, slap the monster card to stop the round. Everyone's creations are then checked. The player with the most correctly positioned pieces wins the card. The first player to collect five monster cards wins the game.
How do you play the game?
Study the monster card, build simultaneously and react quickly. Use observation, speed and spatial awareness to recreate Monster Max more accurately than your opponents.
