Phanerozoic is a compact card game from Broken Mill where players guide plants and animals through millions of years of evolution.
How do you play the game?
In Phanerozoic, players influence an ecosystem filled with plants, animals, mutations and events. Each player has a unique goal and scores by helping species grow, evolve or disappear. During the action phase, you draft cards and decide whether to play new species, add mutations or use events. Each round ends with a nature phase, where plants grow and animals search for food. If there is not enough food, populations shrink or species go extinct. Every turn asks you to plan carefully and shape the ecosystem in your favour.
