How do you play River of Gold?
Each player represents a clan and begins with a royal ship and a clan board. On your turn, roll custom dice to determine actions: expand, sail, or fulfill contracts. You can invest in buildings like trade posts, markets, and shrines, and gain influence with estates. By collecting goods such as silk, rice, and porcelain and delivering them to clients, you earn koku (coins) and prestige. Divine Favor markers can be used to manipulate dice rolls and gain strategic advantages. The game includes a mini-expansion with clan patron cards that provide unique abilities.
