Skip-Bo Junior, the child-friendly card game by
Mattel, is a language-independent adaptation of the classic Skip-Bo with two difficulty levels and cheerful animal illustrations.
What makes this game special?
Skip-Bo Junior brings the familiar sequence-building gameplay into a version suitable for kids. Level 1 focuses on simple card sequences from 1 to 10. Level 2 introduces a discard pile, adding a strategic twist. The colorful animal artwork makes it especially appealing to young players aged 5 and up.
How do you play?
Each player gets a ‘stockpile’ of 10 cards and draws three cards into their hand. On your turn, you play cards onto four central build piles in ascending order from 1 to 10. Wild Skip-Bo cards can be played in place of any number. In level 2, players can also use a personal discard pile and continue playing as long as they can. The first to empty their stockpile wins.
Why recommend it?
Skip-Bo Junior is easy to learn, supports number recognition and sequencing, and delivers fast fun with engaging visuals. The dual-level system means the game grows with your child’s abilities.
