Tianxia: Silk Road is an economic board game expansion by Board & Dice that expands Tianxia with Silk Road trade, camels, caravans, pirates and additional opportunities to earn prestige.
How do you play the game?
Silk Road adds new decisions to existing actions. When performing conversions during an Exchange Action, you can place Camels on corresponding spaces of the Silk Road side board. During Shipping, goods may be delivered to Pirate Ships, potentially earning Pirate Bandana tiles. Battle Camel tokens provide additional influence after battles. At the end of each round, the Silk Road is scored using Caravan tiles, Camels, majorities and battle results. Meanwhile, Pirate Ships move along the eastern coast and create another threat that must be considered when planning trade.
