In 6 Castelos (also known as 6 Castles), 2 to 4 players are representatives of the King of Portugal who help him defend and populate the kingdom. You occupy new land, and cultivate it to become richer. With the profits from the sale, you sponsor the king and the clergy to rise socially higher. There are 4 different ways to score points. To win the game you need to score more victory points than your opponents.
The game 6 Castelos is played in 10 rounds. In each turn, starting with the starting player, the players perform their actions, in the following order:
1. Place a land tile in the area
2. Perform disc actions or worker actions
3. Draw a land tile from the draw pile
