This Amethyst Purple Base from the True Metallic Metal range is made for painters who want a realistic metallic shine with a strong fantasy colour. It works as the base tone in the Amethyst Purple colour family, making it useful for enchanted armour, sci-fi panels, weapons, runes, trims and other eye-catching miniature parts. Vallejo describes the Base colours as high-coverage paints with a smooth, even finish and self-leveling properties. The colour is applied with a brush and can be mixed with other tones to create custom metallic effects. For the best result, shake the bottle well so the metallic pigments are evenly dispersed, then apply several thin coats instead of one heavy layer.
