BigWig (8+) is a surprising trick-taking card game from HABA in which 2 to 6 players use clever card play to compete for a legendary helmet controlling space and time.
The Norse gods are fighting over the mighty BigWig artefact, and every player wants to claim it. During each round, players try to secure valuable tricks and collect as many victory points as possible. Standard cards are joined by special cards, Well cards and Holmgang cards, creating unexpected twists throughout the game. Timing and judging exactly when to commit a strong card can therefore matter as much as the cards in your hand. Straightforward rules make BigWig easy to start, while its shifting situations provide plenty of tactical decisions and encourage repeated play.
