Blaze is an elegant card game from HeidelBÄR Games, inspired by the Russian classic Durak: challenge your left neighbor, form shifting alliances, and claim Feathers to win.
How to play
Blaze is played over two rounds. In Phase 1 you improve your hand: challenge the player to your left by playing one or more cards of the same value; the next player may assist you. The defender rejects with equal/higher values or trump. In Phase 2 you no longer draw: as soon as you empty your hand, you immediately take a Feather card. After two rounds, Feathers plus any correct Bets determine the winner.
