Boop. is an abstract 2-player strategy game from Smirk & Dagger Games, featuring adorable wooden kittens and a unique “boop” mechanic that changes the board every turn.
How do you play Boop?
Each player takes turns placing a kitten on the 6×6 quilted grid board. When a kitten is placed, it “boops” all adjacent kittens one space away. If a player manages to line up three kittens in a row, they are upgraded to cats. The first to align three cats wins the game.
Why is this game a must-play?
Boop. combines simple rules with strategic depth. The boop mechanic introduces dynamic movement and forces players to think several steps ahead. Despite the cute theme, it’s a clever game of positioning and anticipation — perfect for players who love tactical battles in a compact format.
