Cacao is an elegant tile-placement game by Abacus Spiele. As a tribal chief, you position worker tiles around jungle tiles to harvest cacao, sell at markets, draw water and mine gold—whoever earns the most gold wins.
How to play
Each player has a personal deck of worker tiles. On your turn, place either a worker tile or a jungle tile (market, plantation, temple, mine, spring) into the shared grid. Adjacent edges trigger immediately: harvest cacao, sell it for gold, advance on the water track or score temple majorities. When all worker tiles have been placed, tally up and the richest tribe wins.
