Archaeology: The New Expedition

In Archaeology: The New Expedition, you are an archaeologist who leads expeditions in search of lost relics. These artifacts are hidden in the desert, but they belong in a museum! Fortunately, the museum pays you handsomely for what you deliver. During your excavations, discover shards of ancient pottery, valuable coins, masks of the Pharaohs, and more. You can sell them right away, but you can earn even more by delivering complete sets. Don't wait too long to sell, though, or you could lose your discoveries to rival explorers or vicious sandstorms. The player with the most money when the treasure chest runs out wins!

Your expeditions take you to all sorts of places. In addition to the regular dig site, the game includes one of six Monument tiles to explore, each with special rules for discovering the treasures within. Each Monument tile brings its own risks and rewards to your expeditions, making each game a new challenge. Collect your treasures and wait for the perfect moment to sell. Only the boldest adventurers will emerge from the desert with new fame and fortune!
