It adds Tainted Characters to give players variable starting powers and an optional Room Deck to create global chaos for each player.
The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem is a huge expansion that nearly doubles the number of cards in the game. It contains 269 new cards that you can add to the copy of Binding of Isaac: Four Souls you already own (1st or 2nd edition). The new features make the game even more complex and exciting!

The roster of characters is now larger than ever, with the addition of new alternate "tainted" versions of Isaac and the rest of the basement dwellers. Each comes with an alternate starting item and unique artwork. They explore the brand new room deck that offers global modifiers for players, which curse or bless them with powerful effects as they fight for survival. It's not all doom and gloom, however, as players can also bring conjured enemies into play, turning enemies into friends as they race to obtain Four Souls.
