Carcassonne Junior

Carcassonne Junior is an adaptation of the well-known basic game "Carcassonne". This simplified version is already suitable for children from 4 years old.

Each player receives 8 wooden game pieces, the so-called children of Carcassonne. Just like in the base game, the players lay landscape tiles together. Once a road has been completed, all players may place one or more of their game pieces on that road, depending on the number of children depicted in their color. The player who first places all his game pieces on the landscape wins the game.

Carcassonne Junior was the winner of the Game of the Year in 2012. It is a great stepping stone to the 'real' Carcassonne. The playing material is extra sturdy, making it very suitable for small children's hands.
