Pirate variant of The Settlers of Catan for children who find the basic game a bit too difficult. However, this simplified version of the most popular trading game in recent years poses enough challenges to captivate adults too.

The players are pirates trying to conquer the island by building their fortresses and ships there. This requires resources, which they can earn with dice rolls just like in the base game. If they do not have the right raw materials, they can trade with fellow players, ports, the bank and on the market. The ghost pirate can throw a spanner in the works by taking hard-earned raw materials again! Whoever is the first to build all their fortresses wins the game.
