Gold Country is an interactive strategy game by Bitewing Games about investing in mines during the California Gold Rush.
How do you play the game?
In Gold Country, players develop mining companies, buy and sell shares, and try to become the richest prospector. On your turn, you influence mine values by placing claims, exploring the board and reacting to opportunities and setbacks. Players may share interests in the same company, but they can also sabotage rivals by steering mines toward poor results or boosting companies they own. The game ends when all gold veins have been discovered; the player with the most money wins.
