GPS, the spinner-based board game by Allplay: a fast-paced, language-independent game where players launch satellites into orbit, aiming to align them in the correct sequence.
Introduction
In GPS, players take on the role of satellite launch coordinators, striving to position their satellites in the correct order around Earth's orbit. With a unique spinner mechanism dictating launch positions, each game offers a blend of strategy and chance, making it an engaging experience for all ages.
How do you play the game?
Each turn, a player spins the rocket-shaped spinner, determining the launch position for that round. All players then select one of their face-up satellites to place in the indicated position. If the spot is already occupied, the satellite is placed in the next available space clockwise. After placing a satellite, players flip a face-down satellite face-up, preparing for the next turn. Once all satellites are placed, the game transitions to the movement phase, where players can reposition their satellites based on the spinner's outcome. The first player to have all their satellites in ascending numerical order, starting from the Start Line and moving clockwise, wins the game.
Why is this game a must-have?
GPS offers a quick and entertaining gameplay experience, perfect for family gatherings, casual game nights, or as a warm-up for longer gaming sessions. Its simple rules make it accessible to new players, while the strategic depth ensures replayability. The tactile satisfaction of spinning the rocket and the challenge of ordering satellites provide a delightful gaming experience.
