Grimdark Shadow belongs to the John Blanche Masterclass and uses the water-based Warpaints Fanatic Wash formulation. Its specialised flow properties guide the wash into recesses, joints and sculpted details, quickly strengthening shadows and definition. The dark olive-grey colour with its subtle green tone gives surfaces a more weathered and atmospheric character than a completely neutral black wash. Use Grimdark Shadow over steel, silver, armour, wood, machinery, terrain and other muted surfaces. It can also visually unify different colours and materials within dirty, aged or battle-worn colour schemes. Warpaints Fanatic Washes are fully mixable with each other.
