Le Chocolat is a clever tactical board game by Allplay where two players split a chocolate bar and try to claim the tastiest pieces. The game uses the classic “I split, you choose” idea in a surprisingly puzzly way. Mix the 36 chocolate tiles and arrange them into a grid. On your turn, cut the chocolate bar into two chunks along one straight line. If a chunk of three or fewer tiles remains at the end of a player’s turn, that chunk is claimed. Play continues until all chocolate has been taken. Since the scoring card changes every game, you must constantly judge which flavours are valuable and which negative ingredients should be avoided.
How do you play the game?
Arrange the chocolate tiles as one large bar on the table. Players take turns making a straight cut through the bar, breaking the grid into smaller chunks. Any chunk of three or fewer tiles is claimed. At the end, score according to the active scoring card. The player with the most points wins.
