Root: The Squires and Disciples Deck is an English-language alternative card deck by Leder Games that replaces Root's standard deck with fresh strategies, unusual effects, and more variety.
Why choose this alternative card deck?
The Squires and Disciples Deck is designed as a replacement deck for the Root base game and can also be used instead of the Exiles and Partisans Deck. Its cards are inspired by the Marauder and Homeland factions and introduce effects that depend on the composition of your hand. Some effects can make enemies battle each other or alter how dominance works. This gives experienced Root players new tactical choices without adding another faction and makes familiar matchups feel less predictable. It is a compact expansion for groups looking for more replayability, hand-management decisions, and playful disruption.
