Turnbull Turquoise belongs to the John Blanche Masterclass and uses The Army Painter's flowing Speedpaint formula for fast, atmospheric miniature painting. Applied over a light undercoat, it establishes a turquoise base colour while additional pigment naturally collects in folds, panel lines and sculpted recesses. Raised surfaces remain lighter, producing colour, shading and a highlight effect in a single application. The Army Painter recommends white, light beige or light grey primer for the most vibrant results, although darker foundations can be used for more restrained effects. The water-based acrylic formula is designed for models, miniatures and terrain and can be used for armour, cloth, magical effects, patina and atmospheric colour schemes.
