Heavy Metal belongs to the John Blanche Masterclass and uses the Warpaints Fanatic Metallic formulation. The Army Painter combines aluminium flake and mica to deliver strong coverage with a pronounced metallic sheen. This makes the paint suitable for steel, heavy armour plates, chains, weapons, machinery and other metal details. Its dark, raw steel colour provides a strong foundation for grimdark and gothic models and can be deepened with washes or weathered with rust and dirt effects. Fanatic Metallic paints can also be mixed with each other to create additional metallic tones.
