The liquid acrylic wash flows easily into recesses and around sculpted details, strengthening shadows without completely covering the underlying base colour. Its turquoise tone works particularly well over blue and other cool surfaces, making it useful for armour, clothing, terrain, creatures and various fantasy details. Apply the wash directly over a dry basecoat for efficient recess shading, or combine it with layering, highlighting and weathering techniques to create more complex finishes.
