Vineroot Shade belongs to the John Blanche Masterclass and combines a deep purplish-red colour with the flowing properties of a miniature wash. It settles naturally into recesses, folds and around sculpted details, increasing shadow and contrast while allowing the underlying colour to remain visible. Its warm character works particularly well over red, brown, flesh, burgundy and purple tones. This makes Vineroot Shade useful for skin, cloth, leather, creatures, organic details and weathered surfaces. Apply it selectively for controlled recess shading or across broader areas to unify colours beneath a rich, dark tone. Vineroot Shade is also included in the John Blanche Masterclass Volume 4 Paint Set.
