Voodoo Shade belongs to the John Blanche Masterclass and combines an olive-brown colour with a dirty, muddy undertone. This water-based acrylic wash flows into recesses and around sculpted details, quickly strengthening shadows, contrast and definition. Its distinctive tone is particularly useful for bone, wood, ivory-coloured surfaces and dirty fabrics, while also working effectively on terrain and other weathered details. Applied over an existing base colour, Voodoo Shade can establish an aged, earthy patina that complements gothic and grimdark colour schemes. Warpaints Fanatic Washes are also fully mixable, allowing painters to create customised shading tones.
